A shy young girl, with little in terms of friends, spends her time collecting pretty stones on a beach after school. One particularly grey and miserable day, she notices a man by the shore also filling his bag with stones, delighted that someone may share her hobby she decides to approach him. During her walk towards the shore, she watches the man as he drinks and prepares to step beneath the waves. Confused yet understanding that he is consumed by sorrow the girl offers up her precious stones as a form of solace. Little does she know that her innocence and this act of kindness may just save his life. These two lonesome characters find comfort and salvation in one another.
